If KKR meets SRH in Q1, there is a good chance that the toss could determine things. Also, KKR will be the weaker side, since Salt has just left, and Gurbaz may or may not have adjusted to being a regular member of the squad. SRH, otoh, have no England players that they'll miss. Otoh, RR will be in the same boat as KKR, as both Butler and Salt are gone, & given their recent string of defeats, they'll likely be easier to manage

If KKR face SRH & lose Q1, then they'll likely run up against RCB in Q2, who will miss Will Jacks less than RR misses Butler. Both SRH & RCB, despite being #3 & #4, are more of a threat to KKR than #2 RR

For KKR, it's therefore better that SRH and RCB deal w/ each other in the Eliminator, so that they have to face just 1 of them. If, otoh, KKR lose to SRH in Q1 and then to RCB in Q2, it'll be 2 tough games that could see them out of the tournament
