Meera: "Punjab are minimum 15 runs above par here and going to win this match with a margin of those 15 runs at least." Lots of bold calls flying around

Saha and Shubman Gill are at the crease. Saha is on strike. Rabada will open the attack

Rabada to Saha, FOUR, first time Rabada goes full and is driven to the boundary. Saha had the width outside off and he drives square on the off-side. There was a deep backward point in plact but he had no chance

JAFF: "Seriously Sam came to open the innings? its a joke for me, like gully cricket" -- I think a pinch hitter can have success in the powerplay. Narine a big example and Curran probably backs himself as a batter a little bit too

desh: "If PBKS need to win, they need Taide/Prab to open, bring in Raza and Dhawan. Have Jitesh come lower than Shashank and Ashutosh as finisher (thats what he had success before season)"

desh: "PBKS has lots of problems. Bairstow didn't work, Rosseau is not working, Curran opening is a very bad move, Livingstone and Jitesh are not keeping up to the hype. They have some hope just because of Shashank and Ashutosh" -- I also want good things to happen to Preity Zinta only because of how gracious she is even in defeat. And remember, they haven't made the playoffs in over a decade!

Tushar D. Ponda: "PBKS now seem to have gotten into this very concerning habit of consistently expecting Shashank and Ashutosh to do all the scoring in every single game. "

James : "Two of the tightest LBWs you will ever see have gone against Punjab here. People say it's a batter's game these days, but twenty years ago, no way either of those would be given. " -- mmm, fair call. Just as they weren't given out today at first
