Vijay: "106.2 Kohli and Sunder assumed it would hit the ropes. If not they could have run four." Yeah, outfield did them in
Ninad: "Have I missed something here? Why is a part time offie bowling 20 something overs into the new ball? He might end up taking a wicket but still surprised that the 6th bowler gets a spell this early into a new ball" Spinners are getting a bit of turn. Quicks might've tired as well, it's 106 overs in. Actually, turns out it's a break for the quicks. Hazlewood on
MFJIMM: "Declaration in the post tea session or the morning session tomorrow? The mental toll of another morning in the field could work well for India " Nicely framed, and it could be the case

Pradeep : "I feel India would bat on after tea (if they do, that is), and declare giving 5 to 10 overs to the Australian openers so that the Indian quicks get a quick burst late evening and early morning with the new ball." Also a good option
Guru: "Aus have bowled 51 extras so far, almost half of their first innings total. "

84/4 in that session. Australia getting some quick wickets but these two have got the scoreboard moving again. DDP edged first ball after lunch, Jaiswal smashed a cut straight to point and stood there in disbelief, Pant ran out of the crease rash and Cummins trapped Jurel LBW. Virat Kohli has motored along nicely and is nearing his fifty. Washi is using the feet so well to spin. India have stretched the lead past 400. They will be looking for something close to 500. Maybe having a late cracking at the Aussies just before stumps could be a great thing in cooler temps. Pitch has started to misbehave a bit and some are spinning too. Interesting times ahead!
