Having played both their matches here, Bangladesh will be familiar by now with the low and slow nature of the pitches in Sharjah while West Indies will be playing their first match at this venue. Australia are the only team to cross 140 here, while England's 125 in the chase against South Africa is the next highest score.

Thank you Raji for tagging me.smiley31

WIW won against them in the past, but now this BAN team is highly talented and will give a tough fight.

Teams:

Pitch report: 57m and 63m square boundaries. Make up looks similar to the other night. Bit of green grass on it but it will still playing a bit low reckon Alison Mitchell and Katey Martin

West Indies Women (Playing XI): Hayley Matthews(c), Stafanie Taylor, Qiana Joseph, Shemaine Campbelle(w), Deandra Dottin, Chinelle Henry, Aaliyah Alleyne, Mandy Mangru, Afy Fletcher, Ashmini Munisar, Karishma Ramharack

Bangladesh Women (Playing XI): Shathi Rani, Dilara Akter, Sobhana Mostary, Nigar Sultana(w/c), Shorna Akter, Taj Nehar, Ritu Moni, Fahima Khatun, Rabeya Khan, Nahida Akter, Marufa Akter

Nigar Sultana: We wanted to bat first, so pretty happy. We have played two games here. We really want to focus on our strengths and we had a good practice session. We have been struggling with our batting. We have the experience to play on this surface. Same XI for us.

Hayley Matthews We are going to bowl first. Did pretty well against Scotland. We have seen the wickets keeping low but it's a fresh wicket today. Hopefully I can get a few out in the middle today. Mandy Mangru is making here debut today.

West Indies Women have won the toss and have opted to field

West Indies will be playing in Sharjah for the first time in this comp. They couldn't come to terms with the pitch in Dubai against South Africa where they were handed a 10-wicket loss. This is a tougher pitch to negotiate than Dubai but to be honest, they do have the experience of playing on slow pitches back home in the Caribbean. Batting has been the problem all tournament. They need Hayley Matthews the batter to come to the party. Dottin and Taylor have managed to get some runs while Joseph and Henry put a few away in the last game. Mostary has been the only consistent batter for Bangladesh and for them to be competitive they need at least 125+ to pose a challenge.

Sobhana Mostary, right handed bat, comes to the crease

K Ramharack to Shathi Rani, out Stumped!! This seemed like a regulation beaten ball that happened but Campbell was so alert to the fact that Rani had her back leg just outside the line and ignited the bails in a flash. Was a full delivery outside off stump, Rani tried to play the hard sweep, got beaten on the under edge and smart glovework gives West Indies the first wicket. Shathi Rani st Campbelle b K Ramharack 9(12) [4s-1]

K Ramharack to Shathi Rani, THATS OUT!! Stumped!!

Ban-- 22/1 after 3.4 overs

Rabeya Khan to Dottin, SIX, Dottin finishes off in style! Wide-ish line, but the length is too full from Rabeya, Dottin walks across, gets low and slogsweeps over deep midwicket. West Indies win by 8 wickets!

Congratulations to WIW for their easy victory.smiley10
