Manchester Originals vs Trent Rockets, 7th Match
Series: The Hundred Mens Competition 2024
Venue: Emirates Old Trafford, Manchester
Date & Time: Jul 29, 06:35 PM LOCAL
--------------
Teams:
Trent Rockets (Playing XI): Tom Banton(w), Adam Lyth, Alex Hales, Sam Hain, Rovman Powell, Imad Wasim, Lewis Gregory(c), Rashid Khan, Jordan Thompson, Luke Wood, Sam Cook
Manchester Originals (Playing XI): Philip Salt(w/c), Max Holden, Wayne Madsen, Matthew Hurst, Paul Walter, Jamie Overton, Sikandar Raza, Usama Mir, Tom Hartley, Scott Currie, Fazalhaq Farooqi
Lewis Gregory: Would've bowled as well. We've got two changes. Rashid Khan comes in. Much of the same, pretty short competition, you have to be on the money every single game, hopefully we can do that today.
Phil Salt: We're going to bowl. We've got a new line-up. Across the competition, it's been tricky for batters so we thought we'll change the balance. Hopefully it's a good one. This is exactly what we want, we love playing at Old Trafford.

19 Parkinson to Vince, OUT
Stops in the pitch, poked to cover! An utter lollipop to Santner, who is celebrating before it arrives. Slow through the air, slow off the pitch... loopy and simple!
James Vince c Santner b Parkinson 19 (12b 4x4 0x6) SR: 158.33
32 MW Short to du Plooy, OUT
Reverse-sweep, under-edged through his legs! Whoops, a pre-meditated wind-up, hitting across the off-stump line, in fact there's no edge, that just cannoned off his inner thigh and nutmegged him. Ungainly, but another breakthrough!
Leus du Plooy b Short 1 (6b 0x4 0x6) SR: 16.66

42 Parkinson to Coles, SIX runs
Two sixes in a row! Another confident stride, opening his stance on impact and smoked high over long-off
Who is Coles ? Why he is hitting two sixes in a row ?
I don know few
Other than popular players know only Vince , Evans , du plooy

47 Santner to Davies, OUT
Nailed on the pads! That stayed very low, but it was also very leg-sided! This might be missing as Brave review. The finger went up straightaway, no inside-edge. It was round the wicket from Santner, but it is clipping the outer edge of leg stump! The initial decision makes the difference
55 Clark to Coles, OUT
Picks out the man in the deep! It was banged into the pitch from Clark, but all the pace was off, only 62mph, Coles had to check his swing across the leg-stump line and picked out deep midwicket
James Coles c Short b Clark 26 (13b 2x4 2x6) SR: 200
