POTENTIAL SPOILERS
Leaks are saying that Vidya and Madhuri are playing lesbian lovers. They fall apart but end up back together. That's consistent with Ami Je Tomar being a love song in the first film.
Also both Vidya and Madhuri have played lesbians before. Vidya played one in Neeyat. Madhuri played one in Maja Ma and I think the implication in Dedh Ishqiya is that she's one there too. So interesting history there for both actresses, especially since they both were the female leads for the Ishqiya series.
