Exactly way too many cases to even list here and I know what you mean but if we base things without evidence then we will become a lawless society. I have full sympathies with her if what she says is true, but so far she hasn't filed a police complaint, hasn't complained that the police didn't try to help her, hasn't submitted any evidence to back it up her claim. Courts all over the world operate based on evidence, not emotions or feelings. I know I am going to get a lot of flak for this but it is better to let 99 guilty ones go than to punish 1 innocent one. Just because a lot of women are getting raped or molested doesn't mean I will support this finger pointing and presume every man is guilty.

I don't know anything about Ali Zafar prior to this and there isn't much in her statement to form an opinion hence I gave him my benefit of doubt. I would be more inclined to believe something about Salman rather than something coming out of Abhishek. Why? Because there is a history of violence or some kind of pattern. I will not condemn Ali Zafar over some vague statement after learning my lesson over Kangana. Hence if you refer to my original post I spelled it clearly where I stand on this issue

A considerable amount of the population with f*ucked up mentalities still blame women for getting harassed/raped in the first place.

Even when there is full evidence of women being raped I've seen them being blamed where people question their character, what they were wearing, their intentions etc.

Some people are the first to say "innocent till proven guilty" yet they have no hesitation with labelling the women as liars and attention seekers from the get go. They don't even consider she may be telling the truth. The women are made to be criminals without any refuting evidence.

It's funny and sad the extent people will go to to defend the reputation of men they don't even know.

Quite a statement there just because some of us are trying not to rush to judgements and hold onto our reservations doesn't mean they have called the women as liars. The details are important here because there isn't much to go on. Sexual harassment could be anything from harmless flirting, bad date gone wrong, inappropriate touching to outright molestation or rape or consensual back then to exchange sexual favors for xyz benefit. Not everything is black and white. It is going to be seen on case by case basis. Not everyone who have some reservations are defending any rapists here. I still have no clue what happened between these two. Details are everything.
