Alia Bhatt - Sidharth Malhotra To Star Alongside Sanjay Dutt - Pooja B

Since Bollywood superstar Sanjay Dutt has returned to the film industry, the filmmakers are in a rush to sign him up for themselves. After his comeback film Bhoomi, the actor will work next on the third installment of Saheb, Biwi Aur Gangster. Along with that, there have also been reports suggesting a sequel of the 1991 hit Sadak being on the cards. The film which starred Dutt and Pooja Bhatt in the lead roles might get a reboot, and as per fresh reports, with fresh new additions as well.

Along with Sanjay Dutt and Pooja Bhatt who will be seen reprising their roles in the sequel, we might also see alleged couple Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra romancing each other in the film. A source tells Mid Day, "Earlier, there were speculations that Sidharth and Alia are doing Mohit Suri's next directorial project, Aashiqui 3, but the film has been put on hold. Instead, Vishesh Films has cast them for Sadak 2. While the film's director is yet to be finalised, they want to finish the casting process so that the film can go on floors soon.

The makers of the film are planning for a release in August next year. Meanwhile, Alia Bhatt remains busy with the shooting of her next film opposite Vicky Kaushal in the Meghna Gulzar directorial Raazi. On the other hand, Sidharth Malhotra, who recently had his film Ittefaq opposite Sonakshi Sinha and Akshay Khanna, release in theatres, is enjoying his film's success.
