Mohit Suri's Ek Villain starring Shraddha Kapoor and Sidharth Malhotra was a massive success. The venture made it to the 100 crore club and Sid- Shraddha's sizzling chemistry worked wonders on the big screen. The same however cannot be said about the director's latest film, Hamari Adhuri Kahani starring Vidya Balan and Emraan Hashmi. The film has failed to make big bucks at the box office and hasn't been well received by the film critics either. Mohit was supposed to take some time off post HAK, but the plan has been canned. The director has reportedly begun work on his upcoming film Half- Girlfriend, which is based on the novel written by popular Indian author, Chetan Bhagat.
If reports are to be believed, the casting process of the film has begun and the script is being revamped to the T. Rumours are abuzz that Mohit was considering casting his cousin Alia Bhatt for the film. Now that would certainly be pretty interesting, eh? But it may not work out after all. Reports suggest that Mohit's equation with the Bhatts is experiencing troubled waters currently.Well we hope things get sorted out soon and Mohit casts Alia as the lead!
