There is a huge flaw in this story - the whole Anuj situation is due to Aadya and he thinks she is dead...he's fallen apart because of that. Yet Anupama lost her son, she didn't lose it...bad writing

And Anuj losing Adhya, the circumstances and his reactions are the same as Anupama losing Samar and Adhya losing Maaya?
Seriously?

Sorry situation is different
Anuj has no one but adhya in life, no Muku no Kaka now no adhya too. Anupama was never his ever and never shall be that anuj knows well. Only adhya can be only his family. So anyone will shatter when only child or family dies
Anupama case is different. Anupama has pakhi, toshu, bhavesh, her grand kids, samars kid and bahus as her own. Shes not like anuj all alone
Also anupama knows no matter what vanraj is always be her help and family no matter whom he marries, hasmukh and leela will be with her too all life
But anuj has no parents, no in laws, no siblings, no kids, grand kids or bahus to fall back on like anupama
If aupama goes missing 10 ppl will run to check on her if anuj disappears no one cares not even anupama or ankush bhai
So adhya dying is shock for him as he envisioned his life life with help of adhya only
Ultimately anuj knows anupama will leave him any time but adhya would not. If such person dies anyone will go crazy
Its like you have no wife and your only child dies you are left alone in world no one for you
But its anuj fault only, he was running after impossible dream of love called anupama last 30 plus years and destroyed his siblings, gk kaka, adhya, shruti everyones lives for his mad love on anu who can never be his
