Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Vidya confronts Abhira, angered by her failure to stop Madhav from leaving

In tonight's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai episode, Abhira (Samridhii Shukla) lends her assistance to Vidya, who suddenly collapses. Urgently, Abhira instructs a worker to summon medical help while she carefully moves Vidya to a nearby room. Meanwhile, Armaan (Rohit Purohit) becomes deeply concerned upon learning about Vidya's health, grappling with worry. He gently suggests to Abhira that she should leave if she feels the need, visibly emotional over Vidya's condition. Abhira's thoughts are occupied by Armaan, Madhav, Shivani, and Vidya as she remains by Vidya's side, anxiously awaiting her recovery.

Abhira resolves to speak with Madhav:

Eventually, Vidya regains consciousness, her first concern being Madhav's safety on a perilous mission. She pleads with Armaan to intervene and prevent Madhav from proceeding. Armaan, however, explains that Madhav prioritises his duty, to which Vidya counters that Madhav values Abhira above all else. Moved by Vidya's plea, Abhira resolves to speak with Madhav.

Elsewhere, Ruhi and Surekha discuss the need for a change in Manish and Swarna's lives, planning a holiday for them. Their conversation is interrupted by the shocking news that Sushant is attempting a hostile takeover of their household. Deciding to handle the situation discreetly, Ruhi takes charge, preventing Surekha from informing Manish immediately.

Abhira locks Madhav in a room:

Back at Vidya's residence, Armaan expresses gratitude to Abhira for her quick actions in saving Vidya, acknowledging the maternal bond she shares with Vidya. However, their moment is interrupted when Sanjay accuses Abhira of attempting theft, prompting Armaan to defend her honour. 

Abhira later updates Madhav on Vidya's condition, urging him to take precautions. Madhav decides to take a shortcut to check on Vidya, which raises Armaan's suspicions. Abhira stands up for Madhav, suspecting Kaveri's influence. Madhav entrusts Armaan with Vidya's well-being, but Abhira remains aloof towards Armaan. Madhav suddenly finds himself locked in, prompting Abhira's frantic attempts to restrain him. Madhav urges Abhira to maintain professionalism and unlock the door, assuring her of his safe return. Abhira, deeply concerned, implores Madhav to fulfil his promise. Meanwhile, Vidya, consumed by worry, directs her anger at Abhira for failing to prevent Madhav from embarking on his mission. She accuses Abhira of failing as a daughter to Madhav.
