Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Armaan and Abhira discover their marriage is still legally intact

Tonight's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai episode begins with Kiara urging Abhira (Samridhii Shukla) to return home. Charu inquires if Abhira is ready to forgive Armaan (Rohit Purohit). Reflecting on everyone's advice, Abhira remains silent. Aryan advises Charu not to be pessimistic, stating that Abhira isn't ready to return. Armaan arrives, suggesting they should leave. He then encourages Abhira to take her medication despite her protests about its bitterness. He teases her about it, but she finally takes it after some playful bickering.

Kaveri expresses anger towards Abhira:

Dadi Sa expresses her happiness over Madhav and Vidya's union and asks Sanjay to take Kajal to feed the orphans. She later stumbles upon a family picture that includes Abhira but not herself. Feeling displaced, she angrily removes and cleans the dusty picture, lamenting that Abhira is trying to take her family away. In her frustration, she accidentally tears the photo.

Abhira performs a welcoming aarti for Madhav and Vidya, who initially hesitate but eventually comply with the rituals. Armaan, contemplating a wedding gift, gets lost in memories of his and Abhira's wedding. Abhira, dealing with her own grief, visits the temple on Akshara's death anniversary.

Abhira decides to leave:

At the temple, Abhira struggles with her emotions when asked about her family by the priest. Armaan arrives, declaring that he is her family. Together, they distribute food. Coincidentally, Manish's car breaks down near the temple, and he prays for Akshara, hoping to reunite with her and the children someday.

Ruhi approaches Armaan, expressing her pain and frustration. She recounts their past and her hopes of moving forward, only to feel betrayed by Armaan's lingering guilt. Abhira overhears and decides it's time to leave, acknowledging their contract marriage's end. Armaan, taken aback, insists that his ties with Ruhi are strictly legal matters. Krish arrives with a parcel and hands it to Armaan. Upon examining the documents inside, Armaan and Abhira realise that their marriage was never officially terminated, meaning they are still legally husband and wife.
