Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Armaan threatens to hurt himself if Kaveri continues to trouble Abhira

Tonight's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai episode begins with Ruhi's (Garvita Sadhwani) return home to confront men attempting to seize belongings over a loan taken by Manish. With resolve in her voice, she threatens to call the police unless they desist, eventually negotiating a partial payment to Sushant, who demands immediate repayment. Ruhi calmly assures him of settling the entire debt within six months, insisting he stays away from her home thereafter. When Manish inquires about the money, she mentions her side business of selling jewellery designs, which deeply affects Manish. Meanwhile, Abhira (Samridhii Shukla) seeks Akshara's guidance to sort out her life's challenges. Armaan (Rohit Purohit) attempts to enter Abhira's room unnoticed, but she deliberately ignores him. Despite his efforts to offer her a good luck charm for an important event, Abhira chooses to keep her distance from Armaan.

Abhira celebrates her birthday surrounded by Aryan, Krish, and Kiara, who surprise her with colourful balloons, decorations, and a decadent cake. Inspired by the gesture, Abhira encourages Charu to resume her work. However, Kaveri intervenes with criticism, questioning Abhira's commitment to becoming a lawyer. Undeterred, Abhira dismisses Sanjay and Kaveri's schemes as unsuccessful and vows to fulfil Akshara's aspirations. She boldly challenges Kaveri's doubts, asserting Akshara's competence as a lawyer. Kaveri warns Abhira of impending challenges, but Abhira remains resolute in proving her capabilities and realising Akshara's dreams, leaving Kaveri astonished by her determination.

Armaan's declaration:

The celebratory mood continues as Madhav Abhira presents her with a brand-new scooter as a birthday gift. Overwhelmed with joy, Abhira expresses her gratitude, envisioning a newfound sense of freedom and independence with her new mode of transportation. However, the happiness is short-lived when Dadi, harbouring deep-seated animosity towards Abhira, spitefully damages the scooter. The family is left stunned by Dadi's callous act, which threatens to overshadow Abhira's special day. Abhira is determined to fix the scooter herself, insisting Madhav not confront Kaveri over the incident. 

After Abhira leaves, Madhav is visibly upset. Dadi dismisses Abhira's damaged scooty as "junk," prompting Armaan to intervene. He swiftly puts away his laptop and belongings, then hands his car keys to Krish, symbolically passing on his luxuries. Addressing Dadi's scepticism, Armaan explains that this gesture signifies his commitment to prioritising Abhira's happiness over material comforts. Despite Dadi's doubts, he reaffirms his unwavering support for Abhira, emphasising that he cannot abandon her in the face of Dadi's challenges. He asserts that Abhira will ultimately determine their fate together, asserting his deep emotional investment in her well-being. In a dramatic turn, Armaan declares he will endure personal hardship if Kaveri continues to torment Abhira, leaving Kaveri, Vidya, and others stunned into silence as the episode concludes.
