Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: The Goenkas reflect on Abhir’s memories; is his return around the corner?

In tonight's episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Ruhi, devastated by the tragic loss of her baby, lashes out at the doctor, accusing her of negligence. Although the doctor tries to defend herself, Ruhi's anger intensifies. Meanwhile, Abhira rushes in, desperately seeking the doctor's assistance as she struggles to feed her baby. The doctor suggests a solution, advising Ruhi and Abhira to support each other, mentioning that while formula milk is an option, Ruhi could step in to help.

After the doctor leaves, Abhira emotionally pleads with Ruhi to feed the baby. Ruhi appears moved and begins to approach the child, offering a glimmer of hope to the family, who watch with relief. However, as Ruhi gets closer, her demeanour suddenly shifts. Locking eyes with Abhira, she changes her mind and firmly holds Abhira's hand, escorting her out of the room without saying a word. Before slamming the door in the Poddars' faces, Ruhi angrily declares that while Abhira has already taken much from her, she will not allow Abhira's baby to take away her child's rights. Left with no choice, Abhira decides to feed her baby formula milk.

Elsewhere, Swarna comments that Akshara and Arohi at least care for each other's children, unlike Abhira and Ruhi. Manish reflects on how Akshara and Arohi used to maintain balance in their relationship because of Abhir. Surekha interjects, recalling how Abhir once tricked Manish. Swarna then asks Manish if he believes Abhir can mend the broken bond between Ruhi and Abhira.

As Armaan tends to the baby, Abhira begins preparing formula milk. However, Vidya snatches the bottle away, criticising Abhira for depending on formula milk to feed her child. Although hurt by Vidya's words, Abhira resolves to feed the baby herself. As she offers the formula, the baby finally stops crying, bringing relief to everyone. Armaan steps in to support Abhira, urging Vidya to be more understanding of her circumstances. Later, Armaan and Abhira spend some heartfelt moments creating memories with the baby. While Abhira sings a lullaby for her son, Armaan records the moment. 

Meanwhile, Rohit confronts Ruhi, calling her out for being selfish by refusing to feed her own child. Shocked by his words, Ruhi questions whether the baby is hers. Caught off guard, Rohit mistakenly reveals the truth but tries to backtrack, clarifying that Abhira has decided to share the baby with her. Despite this, Ruhi remains adamant and declares she cannot accept Abhira’s child. Firm in her decision, she resolves to leave for Manish’s house.

Later, back in their room, Armaan senses Abhira's distress and asks her what's troubling her. Abhira confesses her worry that Ruhi might never accept her baby. Armaan offers her comfort and reassures her. Vidya contemplates calling Swarna to discuss the baby, but Kaveri advises against it. Instead, Kaveri encourages Vidya to act as a supportive mother-in-law to both Abhira and Ruhi.

Later that night, as Armaan sleeps, Abhira opens up to him, quietly sharing her innermost feelings. She admits she has never hidden anything from him except one dream. Reflecting on her experiences, she wonders whether her emotions are typical for new mothers or if she is an exception. Abhira reveals that she often dreams of a baby crying uncontrollably, and in her most recent dream, Ruhi takes her child away—an act she acknowledges is far from reality, as Ruhi doesn’t even acknowledge their baby. Wiping her tears, Abhira resolves to focus on caring for her child and moves forward with determination. Unbeknownst to her, Armaan overhears everything she has shared.

The following day, the Poddar family is thrilled to hear about Aryan's upcoming hockey match. However, their excitement is short-lived when Aryan returns home, and his coach reveals that Aryan has been caught with alcohol and is now suspended from the team.
