In an exclusive interview with India Forums, Aditi Mistry, the latest Wild Card entrant of Bigg Boss 18, reveals her thoughts on entering the controversial reality show. Known for her bold persona, Aditi discusses her motivations for joining the show, stating that she's not here to revive her career or chase controversies. Instead, she shares her genuine approach to the game and what fans can expect from her during her journey in the Bigg Boss house.
So, for the people who might not know you as well, can you introduce yourself?
Sure! I’m Aditi, and I’m from Gujarat. People often call me "Indian Latina" because of my physique, but I’m a proud Gujarati! I’m here to add some glamour and hotness to the show, which I feel is currently missing. You’ve never seen someone like me before, so I’m sure it’s going to be a lot of fun!
Bigg Boss is known for not only glamour but also intense tasks and mind games. Are you ready for all of that?
I’ve watched a few seasons, including the last OTT one. I’m ready for all the twists and turns! There are bound to be arguments, friendships, and definitely some intense drama, but I’m here to face it all head-on. I’m prepared to handle anything that comes my way.
I’m not here to revive my career or to chase controversies. I just want to entertain people, have fun, and be myself. It’s a huge platform, and I’ve always dreamed of being here. My goal is to just enjoy the experience and give my best!
- Now, Bigg Boss is a show that sees a lot of controversies. Some people enter to revive their careers, and some for other reasons. What’s your reason for coming on the show?
Let’s talk about the dynamics inside the house. There’s always a lot of gossip, especially between the girls. How will you handle things like body shaming and other negativity?
I’ve never faced body shaming in my life because I’m confident in who I am. If someone talks behind my back, it doesn’t bother me at all. But if they say something to my face, I will definitely give them a reply. Body shaming is wrong, and I will always stand up against it. I will take a stand for anyone who faces it, whether it's me or another contestant.
Now, moving on to the tasks and duties inside the house, are there any tasks you’re particularly excited about? And any that you would prefer not to do?
I’m actually pretty flexible. I can do anything, whether it’s cleaning or cooking. I’m a Gujarati girl, and I know how to take care of everything at home. The only thing I’d rather not do is the toilet cleaning task! But everything else is totally fine with me.
Lastly, tell us, what’s one weakness you think might work against you in the Bigg Boss house, and one strength that sets you apart from the others?
My weakness is that I can get emotional at times. I’m a sensitive person, but I’m working on managing it. As for my strength, I’m a strong and determined person. I believe in myself and my abilities. I won’t let anything stop me from achieving my goals.
As Aditi Mistry steps into the Bigg Boss 18 house as a Wild Card entrant, her no-nonsense attitude and refreshing perspective promise to shake things up. With her focus on staying true to herself and steering clear of unnecessary drama, it’ll be exciting to watch how she navigates the challenges ahead. Fans can look forward to an engaging journey as Aditi continues to surprise and challenge the status quo within the house.
