Following the much-awaited wedding of Abhira and Armaan, the story jumps ahead by three months, revealing significant changes. Abhira and Armaan's marriage begins to show cracks as the couple grows distant from one another. Meanwhile, Ruhi and Rohit's relationship flourishes as they prepare to take an important step in their journey together. 

However, a hidden truth known only to Manish still looms. Abhira and Ruhi are unaware that Abhira is actually Akshara's daughter. Manish has kept this secret to avoid worsening the situation, as Ruhi believes Akshara was responsible for her mother's death. With Abhira and Ruhi finally mending their relationship, revealing this truth could reignite tensions between them.

In the upcoming episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Sanjay stumbles upon a file and reads through its contents. To his shock, he discovers that Manish has transferred half of his wealth to Abhira, and in the process, realizes that Abhira and Ruhi are actually sisters. Meanwhile, back at the Poddar house, Ruhi approaches Abhira with a heartfelt request. She asks if they can put the past behind them and start fresh. Abhira, filled with excitement, eagerly agrees and suggests that they make their friendship official. The two share a warm hug, marking the beginning of a new chapter in their bond. 

However, as they embrace, Sanjay secretly observes them from a distance. With a sly grin, he turns his attention to a picture of Akshara and Ruhi and mutters to himself that the newfound love between these sisters will be short-lived. He sinisterly declares that Abhira's life is about to become very difficult because he plans to reveal to everyone that Abhira is the daughter of the woman responsible for Ruhi's mother's death.
