Recently, the show made headlines with the news that Shivam Khajuria, who played Rohit, has been replaced by Baatein Kuch Ankahee Si actor Romit Raj.

In the upcoming episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Abhira confronts Manish, demanding answers. She states that while she has always sought only his blessings, today, she needs a response. Abhira questions why Manish allowed Ruhi to return to the Poddar house when he had previously wanted their divorce. She confesses her doubts about Ruhi's true intentions and warns that a storm is about to hit the Poddar house.
