Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Manish, representing Abhira's family, brings gifts

Star Plus' Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai continues to captivate its audience with its emotional twists and turns. Abhira and Armaan's relationship has finally received family approval, and wedding preparations are underway. Yet, their journey is fraught with challenges. Ruhi, intent on creating rifts, attempts to sow discord between the couple, while Kaveri further complicates matters by demanding a prenuptial agreement and withdrawing as Abhira's loan guarantor. Despite these obstacles, Abhira forges ahead, successfully organising a grand Nath function featuring traditional Himachali customs from the Sharma family's side.

However, a long-buried secret comes to light during the festivities. At the Nath function, Manish arrives and becomes curious about Abhira's background. This leads Abhira to reveal that her father hailed from Kasauli. Manish's curiosity turns to devastation when he sees Abhira's parents' photo frame and realises that Akshara has passed away. 

Unbeknownst to Abhira, she faces yet another challenge from Kaveri, who demands a second function from the bride's side. Kaveri insists that Abhira should bring gifts from her side and host another event. Consequently, Abhira agrees to organise the additional function.

In the upcoming episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Kaveri announces that the upcoming event will be the final showdown between her and Abhira and tells Sanjay that she believes Abhira will lose this challenge. Later that evening, Abhira discusses the event preparations with Armaan. She admits to feeling unsure and clueless about how to manage the function but remains determined to succeed, just as she did with the previous event. Armaan reassures her of his support and confidence.

The next day, the Poddars arrive dressed for the occasion, bringing a substantial number of gifts from their side of the family. In contrast, Abhira struggles to arrange anything substantial from the Sharma side and decides to provide money in envelopes instead. Kaveri points out that the gifts from her side are already here and questions whether the Sharma family will contribute anything or if Abhira plans to rely on the money envelopes. Just then, a large group arrives carrying numerous gifts, and Manish steps into the Poddar house with a significant gift from Abhira's family, leaving Abhira and everyone else stunned.

In tonight's episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Manish is preoccupied with thoughts of Akshara and grows increasingly anxious over the possibility that Ruhi and Abhira are sisters. During a ceremony, Ruhi compliments Abhira on her hosting but questions her happiness, leading to a confrontation where Abhira accuses Ruhi of sending Manish away. Ruhi responds by telling Abhira to stop claiming any rights over Manish.

Meanwhile, Manish regrets missing Akshara's call and his deteriorating condition alarms Swarna and Surekha. The doctor warns that he is at risk of a cardiac arrest and advises immediate hospitalisation. An ambulance is called, and Abhira, deeply worried, insists Armaan take her to Manish's home. Upon arrival, she is shocked by his condition and comforts him, leading to a stabilisation of his health. The doctor confirms Manish is out of danger.

Abhira chooses to stay by Manish's side despite Surekha's suggestions to rest. Swarna requests that Abhira keep Manish's condition a secret from Ruhi, which Abhira initially resists but eventually agrees to. Back at the Poddar mansion, Kaveri challenges Abhira to organise another event, demanding that she incorporate her parents' blessings. Armaan defends Abhira, asserting that he is her family, which offends Kaveri. Despite the challenge, Abhira decides to proceed with the event planning.
