SAB TV’s Badal Pe Paon Hai has been in the news lately, with reports suggesting the show is set to go off-air. According to sources, the channel has decided to conclude the series, making way for the much-anticipated Tenali Rama season 2, which will take over the 8 pm slot.

India Forums contacted lead actor Aakash Ahuja for clarification, who shared, “I have also heard the news, but there is no official confirmation from the channel yet.”

Badal Pe Paon Hai centres on Baani, portrayed by Amandeep Sidhu, a spirited Punjabi girl who cares deeply for her family. Her life changes drastically when she is falsely accused and imprisoned after defending a bride at a wedding. Upon her release, Baani faces pressure to marry and meets Rajat (played by Aakash Ahuja), a suitor arranged by a matchmaker. Initially, she worries about the wedding expenses, assuming Rajat is wealthy, but is surprised when she learns of his modest finances. Despite facing challenges adjusting to the Khanna household, Baani strives to adapt, find a new job, and balance her relationship with her boss.
