Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Armaan makes a decision to save Abhira's life, apologises to their unborn child

Tonight's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai episode opens with Abhira suddenly noticing that although it's raining, she isn't getting wet. As she turns around, she sees Armaan holding an umbrella over her. She begins to tell him about her pregnancy, but Armaan remains silent, assisting her into the car without saying a word. His mind flashes back to the moments when he had sensed something off in her behaviour, but she always brushed it aside, insisting everything was fine. After helping her into the car, Armaan locks the door.

Worried, Abhira yells at Armaan, urging him to avoid getting drenched. He calls her back, and she pleads with him not to harm his health. Armaan finally responds, expressing his frustration about her hiding the pregnancy from him, adding that he needs to maintain distance or he might say something regrettable. He questions her about when she first discovered the news. Abhira explains that it was during the Garba celebration when Dadi was attacked. 

Abhira embraces a heartbroken Armaan:

Upset, Armaan asks why she didn't share it sooner and expresses his hurt that everyone else seemed to know before him. Abhira clarifies that she had planned a special surprise for him but circumstances ruined it. She begs him to get in the car so they can go home and talk things over with Kaveri. However, Armaan, still feeling betrayed, remarks how even Kaveri knew about it, making him feel as if she had turned him into the villain for everyone. Abhira continues pleading for him to come inside.

It then strikes Armaan that Abhira's pregnancy might have complications. He unlocks the car door and asks her if there is any danger involved. Abhira deflects his question, suggesting they return home instead. Unconvinced, Armaan pulls out the medical reports from her bag and discovers that her pregnancy could pose serious risks to her life. Abhira embraces him, reassuring him that they will welcome their baby safely, and with love and blessings, everything will be alright.

Armaan is haunted by painful memories:

Chaaru and Neeraj enjoy spending time together, and when they return, they are pleased to see their family united. Abhira and Armaan also arrive home, and their father asks why they are soaking wet. Abhira reassures him that they are fine before leading Armaan to Kaveri's room. There, Abhira reminds Kaveri of her promise to speak to Armaan, but due to strong medication, Kaveri doesn't recall anything from the previous night due to strong medication. She asks Abhira to explain everything again. Armaan steps in, saying they will sort out the matter themselves and takes Abhira out of the room.

Armaan then confides in Abhira that he cannot allow her to risk her life. Abhira shows him the sonography, insisting that their baby is the solution to their problems. While Armaan listens emotionally, she adds that they should welcome the child with joy. Despite their emotional hug, Armaan is haunted by painful memories of a woman who lost her life during childbirth. 

Armaan apologises to the baby:

Unable to bear the thought of losing Abhira in the same way, he contacts the doctor to discuss termination options. Abhira desperately tries to stop him, but Armaan refuses, saying he can't risk her life for the baby. He explains that it would destroy him if anything happened to her and insists they must end the pregnancy. Overcome with emotion, he leaves, leaving Abhira in tears.

Outside, in the garden, Armaan breaks down as he stares at the sonography report. Apologising to the baby, he acknowledges he cannot risk Abhira's life for their child. On the verge of collapse, he is approached by Manish, who asks him what's wrong. Armaan quickly hides the report, unable to reveal the truth, but promises that no matter what happens, he will always support Abhira.
