Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Abhira introduces Armaan to 'Baby Sharma Poddar,' but he suggests an abortion

Star Plus' Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai brings an emotional twist with a three-month leap. In the latest track, Abhira discovers she's pregnant, but the joy is short-lived as her pregnancy is life-threatening due to complications. Fearing Armaan will urge her to terminate the pregnancy, she decides to keep it a secret. During Karva Chauth, Abhira breaks her fast on the doctor's advice, but Ruhi secretly records it, exposing her and leaving Armaan heartbroken.

In the upcoming episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Armaan, having learned about the complexities of Abhira's pregnancy, walks out of the restaurant without hearing her out. Upon returning home, Abhira excitedly shows him the sonogram and introduces their baby as "Baby Sharma Poddar." As Armaan examines the scan, he expresses joy and pride, saying, "humara baby." Abhira shares that the baby is determined to come to her. 

However, to her shock, Armaan reveals that they need to terminate the pregnancy. He insists that they have time till tomorrow and advises her to gather her strength and prepare for the procedure, insisting that she is determined to go through with it. This revelation leaves Abhira in shock.

In tonight's episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Abhira wakes up confused in her room, realising that Armaan must have brought her back inside after she fell asleep in the parking lot. Seeking to talk to him, she discovers he has already left for work. Overcome with emotions, Abhira cries, prompting concern from Ruhi, who tries to comfort her but is met with Abhira's insistence on being a good sister instead of fighting. Abhira's sudden nausea leads her to flee the room, where she comes to the realisation that she is pregnant.

Meanwhile, Armaan, filled with regret for not allowing Abhira to explain herself, is interrupted by Atul, who reminds him of a crucial meeting. As Abhira prepares to announce her pregnancy at the restaurant, she accidentally drops her phone, leading Armaan to recognise it. When Abhira faints upon seeing him, a doctor reveals her pregnancy, leaving Armaan in shock as he struggles to comprehend the situation.
