Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Ruhi shows concern for crying Abhira, comforts her with food

Tonight's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai episode opens with Abhira waking up in her room, puzzled by how she ended up there, as she distinctly remembers falling asleep in the parking lot. She begins to suspect that Armaan must have brought her back inside and decides she needs to talk to him. Noticing the meal set out for her, she reflects on how, despite his anger, Armaan still made sure she had food. She reaches for her phone to call him, only to find that it's switched off. Determined to find him, she leaves the room.

Ruhi comforts Abhira:

At the Poddar house, Abhira inquires about Armaan's whereabouts from Ruhi. Ruhi informs her that he has already left for work with Sanjay. She asks if Abhira didn't notice Armaan leaving, jokingly wondering if she had been sleeping soundly without a care in the world. Overwhelmed by her emotions, Abhira begins to cry. Ruhi, surprised by this unusual display, comments on Abhira's behaviour, pointing out that she usually teases her but has never seen her cry like this. 

Abhira admits that she doesn't know why she feels this way. She expresses a desire to talk to Kaveri, but Ruhi questions whether she plans to complain to her. Abhira replies that she wouldn't bother Kaveri over something so trivial. Ruhi insists that Kaveri is still sleeping because Abhira was gossiping all night. Abhira corrects her, stating she doesn't gossip. Ruhi agrees but suggests that instead of crying, it would be better for Abhira to just fight with her. Abhira responds that she doesn't fight; she just wants to be a good little sister, which angers Ruhi for bringing up that topic.

Ruhi is suspicious:

Noticing Abhira staring at her breakfast plate, Ruhi offers her some food. However, as Abhira catches a whiff of the laddo, she suddenly feels nauseous and politely declines, asking Ruhi to move it away. When Ruhi presses her for an explanation, Abhira simply says goodbye and hurriedly leaves the room.

Suddenly, the realisation hits Abhira that she's pregnant, and she quietly walks away. Ruhi, sensing something odd, briefly wonders if Abhira might be expecting, but she quickly dismisses the thought, considering it unlikely.

Abhira plans to surprise Armaan:

Armaan is filled with regret for not giving Abhira the opportunity to explain her side of things. Just as he decides to go meet her, Atul arrives, reminding him of an important meeting with Mr. Manchandani at a restaurant. Armaan is caught off guard, insisting that there was no such meeting on his calendar for the day. However, Atul assures him that the meeting had been arranged a month prior and convinces him to attend, stating that Mr Manchandani is already waiting for him. Reluctantly, Armaan heads to the restaurant.

Atul then calls Abhira, letting her know that he has followed her instructions and that Armaan is on his way to the restaurant. Abhira acknowledges the update and prepares to leave as well. Once at the restaurant, she spots a football and kicks it playfully. The players, impressed by her kick, compliment her. Abhira, smiling, jokingly tells them it's not safe for her baby. They tease her, suggesting her child might become a future footballer, and she laughs, feeling a little hungry. She speaks softly to her baby, asking it to hold off until Armaan arrives. In her excitement, she accidentally drops her phone as she steps inside the restaurant to see the surprise she had set up for Armaan, intending to announce her pregnancy.

Armaan is schoked:

As the players try to return Abhira's phone, the security guard intercepts them. Armaan, noticing the situation, offers to help. He takes the phone and promises to return it to "the pregnant woman in the blue saree." As he glances at the phone, he is shocked—it appears to be Abhira's. Inside the restaurant, Abhira suddenly feels lightheaded and, moments later, spots Armaan walking in. Struggling to keep her balance, she faints, and Armaan rushes over, startled to realise it's her. A doctor, who happens to be present at the restaurant, examines her. Concerned, Armaan asks what's wrong. The doctor explains that fainting is common during pregnancy and then questions why Armaan seems unaware that his wife is expecting. Armaan is left speechless.

Elsewhere, Charu is seen trying on different outfits, and Krish teases her, commenting that she's only meeting Neeraj, not attending a fashion event. Charu retorts, playfully suggesting that Krish will miss her. He jokingly denies this, claiming he's happy for her. Their parents join them, with Sanjay expressing his full support and gifting her a bracelet, which Charu gratefully accepts. Kajal compliments her husband on his thoughtful gift. Sanjay reassures her that Neeraj is a good match, and she agrees, feeling reassured about building a future with him.

Abhira regains consciousness:

Back at the restaurant, the doctor once again presses Armaan, asking how he could not know about Abhira's pregnancy. Armaan remains in a state of shock, unable to respond. Meanwhile, at home, Kaveri and Ruhi are playing chess. Ruhi tries to pry into the conversation Abhira and Kaveri had the night before, but Kaveri firmly shuts her down, insisting it's a private matter and advising Ruhi to focus on the game.

As the doctor scolds Armaan for not being attentive to the changes in Abhira, she slowly regains consciousness. The doctor gives her a sandwich to eat. Once they are alone, Abhira plays a recording she had prepared, revealing her pregnancy. However, Armaan, overwhelmed, leaves the restaurant without seeing the message.

In the precap, Abhira finally tells Armaan about their baby and shows him the sonogram. Armaan's reaction leaves her stunned as he asks her to consider an abortion.
