Star Bharat's journey to become number one has truly been an inspiring one, about which wrote a piece only yesterday. Here is it-
And while, you are done reading that, this piece is about how one of the leading shows on the channel is all set to witness a major entry.
Amidst all the number grabbing shows like Kya Haal Mr Panchaal and Nimki Mukhiya, the channel experimented with an unconventional show over a month ago.
Based on the life of one of the most celebrated yet underrated freedom fighters of all time, Chandrashekhar was launched on the channel only recently. A biopic show is usually the most difficult to pull off, especially if it's that of a freedom fighter.
To recreate the scenic treatment of those times and maintain the authenticity is surely a task, but Chandrashekhar has managed to fulfil that to a great extent.
The story in the show has been progressing towards an interesting phase, and will soon see the entry of other freedom fighters, we popularly know.
One of then is Ramprasad Bismil, a freedom fighter and a poet, who dedicated his life to the country and was one of the pillars in the freedom struggle.
You may best know about him through stalwart actor, Atul Kulkarni's portrayal of the character in the cult film, Rang De Basanti.
Coming back to the show, we can be rest assured that the show will also have the best exhibition of Ramprasad Bismil, owing to the person who is finalised to play the character.
None other than actor, Rahul Singh will be portraying Bismil in the show.
Rahul's body of work is no secret and needs no introduction, where he has been an important part of big films and a few commercials too.
Are you excited for Rahul's entry? Leave in your comments below..

The news is writing as if it's a really big star when in reality it's a nobody who appeared in side roles in some movies. Talk about sensationalizing mediocrity!
