Ambani wedding details: Over 100 private planes & star-studded performances await

The Ambani family is all set for a grand celebration as Anant Ambani, son of business tycoon Mukesh Ambani, is marrying his longtime girlfriend, Radhika Merchant, tomorrow, July 12, 2024. The event promises to be a star-studded affair with many Indian celebrities and international personalities expected to attend. 

A recent report has disclosed that the groom’s family has gone all out in their preparations, hiring three Falcon-2000 jets and over a hundred private planes to ensure smooth travel for their guests.

In a recent interview with Reuters, Rajan Mehra, chief executive of Club One Air, a charter plane operator, shared details about the elaborate arrangements. 

He mentioned that the Ambanis have rented three Falcon-2000 jets from his company and that over a hundred private planes will be in use throughout the festivities. 

The wedding ceremony will take place at the Jio World Centre in Mumbai. Following the wedding, there will be a Shubh Aashirwad ceremony on July 13 and a wedding reception on July 14.

The pre-wedding celebrations have already been a spectacle with performances by big names like Rihanna, Justin Bieber, Katy Perry, Akon, Diljit Dosanjh, Shreya Ghoshal, and Arijit Singh.

The wedding day itself will feature more grand performances. Singer-rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh has confirmed his performance for the big day and was spotted arriving at Mumbai airport ahead of the event. 

Additionally, media reports revealed that music director Pritam Chakraborty and playback singer Nikhita Gandhi will also be performing during the celebrations.
