In a world where sports not only entertains but also inspires, Bhaweeka Chaudhary, known for her portrayal of Nandini in Zee TV's show "Maitree," emphasizes the significance of National Sports Day as a tribute to the athletes who grace the field with their incredible feats of strength, determination, and agility. As the nation marks this particular day, Bhaweeka's words reflect the sentiment of millions who recognize and appreciate the dedication of athletes who continually push their boundaries.
National Sports Day, observed annually on August 29th in honour of the legendary Major Dhyan Chand's birth anniversary, is a time to reflect on the transformative power of sports. Athletes from various disciplines become symbols of perseverance, resilience, and the pursuit of excellence. Their accomplishments echo through generations, inspiring individuals like Bhaweeka to embrace new challenges and personal growth.
Bhaweeka Chaudhary, who essays the role of Nandini in Zee TV's show Maitree, said, "On National Sports Day, I want to take a moment to celebrate the athletes who bring us exhilarating moments on the field because they inspire us with their strength, determination and agility. I am learning mixed martial arts these days. I remember when I was in school, we celebrated this day, and I participated in various games, such as racing shotput and won medals and certificates. Even today, whenever I get some free time on the sets of Maitree, Shrenu, Harsh, and I start playing some game, mostly Cricket, because Harsh has played Cricket at the national level, so he ensures we play it properly. Lastly, I would like to say Happy National Sports Day to everyone."
