He lovingly described her as the 'most beautiful mother' and penned a touching tribute in her honor, “A day tomorrow of remembrance to the most beautiful Mother of all time.”

Teji Bachchan, Amitabh Bachchan's mother, was born on August 12, 1914, and departed on December 21, 2007. She was a notable social activist and psychology educator in pre-independence Lahore. Teji Bachchan, along with Harivansh Rai Bachchan, had two sons: Amitabh and Ajitabh Bachchan.
