Twinkle Khanna reveals how a relative's stupid comment on Nitara's skin tone gave the little one a complex

Twinkle Khanna is known for her candour and does not hesitate from saying truths howsoever uncomfortable they might be. In her latest column, she has spoken about her children, and also reflected on how kids tend to overhear everything. Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna have two children, Aarav and Nitara. While Aarav is in London, Nitara is still in school. Twinkle Khanna in her column has said that once a relative mindlessly made a comment on her skin tone saying that while she was cute, she was not as fair as her brother Aarav Kumar. As we know, Aarav has his mother’s milk and honey complexion. 

Twinkle Khanna said that Nitara later told her mother that she did not want to go for her swimming classes. She did not want that tan. The former actress said that this shows how children tend to absorb everything from what they hear around them. She said every parent struggles to not let anyone compare their two kids but at times people make the struggle bigger.

Akshay Kumar recently said that his son has not interest in becoming an actor. It seems he wishes to enter the fashion industry. He also said that his son leads a quiet life, does his chores by himself and shops at thrift stores. He revealed that Aarav Kumar was a very grounded kid. Nitara is almost 12 now. Akshay Kumar also once wrote on Instagram that it was sad to see daughters grow up so fast.
