The ball is rolling once again for Ekta Kapoor's much-awaited and much-delayed ambitious project, The Test Case on Alt Balaji. The web show did not present any further episodes after airing just one episode due to various reasons.

However, it seems that things are finally falling in place for the producer as the show is in the news again.

Infact, none other than actor, Anup Soni, who is the face of Sony TV's Crime Patrol has been roped in to play an important role.

According to a report in DNA, Anup will be playing the role of Lt. Col. Imtiaz Hussain, an investigating officer with an extraordinary eye for detail, which would come in handy for Nimrat Kaur's character achieve the ultimate goal.

Anup mentioned on how the character will intially come across just as an investigating officer, but his pattern on getting into psyche of a person makes the character interesting.
