Taapsee Pannu to cheer husband Mathias Boe at Paris Olympics 2024

Despite her deep connection to him, she avoided attending his matches in the past due to the stress they caused her. She believes that with Satwik and Chirag being strong contenders for an Olympic medal, it's the perfect year to be part of the action. She shared her thoughts with the Hindustan Times, expressing her hope that the Indian badminton team will perform well. "I hope the celebration happens with a victory there. That will be the best birthday gift," Taapsee said, referring to the men's doubles quarter-finals scheduled around her birthday.

Apart from cheering for the badminton team, Taapsee looks forward to experiencing other sports. She pointed out that sports like badminton often receive a different level of attention than cricket in India. Taapsee wants to be an enthusiastic spectator, appreciating the diversity of sports showcased at the Olympics.

She emphasized the importance of broadening the public's interest beyond cricket, saying, "We don't really get to see so many sports or have access to or awareness of so many of them in comparison to how much we indulge in cricket. So, I want to be a part of those sports as an audience."
