Sunny Deol says 'muje toh sharam aati hai' while talking about actors shaving body hair

Actor Sunny Deol needs no introduction where the veteran literally completed four decades in the film industry a couple of days ago since his debut film, Betaab released on 5th August 1983. Even though he has been in an array of films over the years, the actor continues to be most popularly known for his action performances and his angry man characters that mouthed some iconic lines.

One of his most celebrated and iconic film and character, Gadar is now getting a sequel called Gadar 2 and is up for release this week. Interestingly, the actor opened up on the changing times and how actors these days get their bodies shaved and are focused on getting six-pack abs.

In an interview with Aaj Tak, Deol would jokingly talk about it saying, "Mujhe toh badi sharam aati hai jab shave karlete hai apne baal, ladki ban gaya (I feel very shy when they shave their body hair as they look like girls),"

He further went on to add that he doesn't understand the need to have six-pack abs as a prerequisite as they are actors and not bodybuilders. He remarked upon how talents these days have a mindset that if they have a body and if they can dance, they can become an actor.

He also mentioned how makers are producing things like that and audience is lapping up on the same like fast food. He concluded talking about how Hindi cinema has now gone more towards the 'Bollywood' tag where makers have begun to pick up films from elsewhere rather than creating their own projects.

As known, Deol has Gadar 2 up for release but the actor was last seen in the critically acclaimed, Chup: Revenge of the Artist last year and is also scheduled to appear in films like Baap, Soorya and Apne 2, the latter in which he reunited with family members and also has the addition of Karan Deol into the mix.
