SRK refunds 50% of distributor's money for Dilwale!

Shah Rukh Khan has taken onus of the collections (or lack thereof) of Dilwale in India...

The newest fad in the Hindi film industry, apart from being a part of the coveted 100-crore club, is actually the exact opposite: returning money to producers.

After it was rumored that Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone would be returning Rs 15 crore back to the producers of Tamasha after its dismal performance at the box office, (they denied doing the same later) it is now Shah Rukh Khan's turn!

Trade Analyst Komal Nahta tweeted that Shah Rukh Khan has returned around 50 % of the distributor's money for Dilwale.

SRK had earlier in a press conference said that he is not happy about the loss faced by the distributor's of Dilwale. "I don't think the film has done as well as it should have. I am personally disappointed with that," he was quoted saying. [sic]

However, according to reports in a leading daily, Shah Rukh Khan has taken onus of the collections (or lack thereof) of Dilwale in India. While Dilwale has done well worldwide, in India, distributors have faced some losses.
