Sriti Jha's peaceful birthday celebration in Jaisalmer!

While we all love to party hard and make some noise on our birthdays, the beautiful and much loved actress Sriti Jha who essays the character of Pragya on Zee TV's popular show Kumkum Bhagya, prefers to have a quiet birthday celebration. Sriti recently celebrated her birthday according to her will in Jaisalmer.

TellyBuzz spoke to Sriti to know more about her birthday celebration in Jaisalmer and Mumbai, the gifts she got and much more...

Sriti shared, "I just wanted to be myself in Jaisalmer so I went there alone. It was a very peaceful and a beautiful trip. I visited the Forts and in the evening I went to see the sunset and it was very beautiful along with the good music. The people of the camp where I was staying got a birthday cake for me. I had also cut my birthday cake on my set on the Feb 24. My Mom is here with me so it's a huge birthday week for me."

"I never celebrate my birthday. I like to be invisible and have a quiet birthday celebration," adds Sriti.

When asked Sriti about the gifts she received on her birthday, she said, "I have got lots of birthday gifts. My hair dresser gifted me a purse and I got 2 birthday cakes on my set. I also got gifts from the people of the camp in Jaisalmer. My Mom is here so that's the biggest birthday gift for me."

Sriti was showered with lots of wishes and blessings from her admirers as well and she is overwhelmed with the love showered by her fans upon her. Thanking all the fans for their wishes and making a beautiful thread on India Forums for her birthday, she conveys a message, "Hello, all of you are amazing people! I saw the whole thread (all the 28 pages of it) and the way I feel is beyond words. Everything that makes me happy is there in the thread. There's Capt. Jack Sparrow wishing me. Its amazing how you guys have put everything I passionately love the msgs. - cinema, traveling and Johnny Depp. Some of you have been sending me msgs for all these years and its brilliant how you find new ways of making it more special every year. When I got those quotes from my favorite authors I thought that was it but this year you guys made it bigger. I loved the video, the edits, the cakes and Everything!!!

Now I shall share something that bothers me sometimes. There's a lot of pressure of having fans like this. All the people I am a fan of; they make me grow and they inspire me. I just want you people to know that the characters that I have played are what they are because of the writers and the directors I have worked with. I feel guilty taking all the credit. I just want you guys to be inspired by life. All of you are sooo talented and so well read. Please continue to grow, read more, just grow, let life inspire you, smile more... Thank you so much guys. Each one of you have made me feel so very special. I stand up and take a bow...throw my imaginary hat in the air...and clap profusely for five minutes for all the efforts. Thank you sooo much!!!"
