The shocking murder of Baba Siddique has left the entire city of Mumbai in horror. Recognized as one of India's safest cities, the financial capital was stunned to learn that the MLA was shot dead by three attackers in Bandra. The incident occurred near his son Zeeshan Siddiquie’s office. He was quickly taken to Lilavati Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The burial took place at Bada Qabrastan in Marine Lines. Son Zeeshan Siddique and daughter Arshia Siddiqui were unable to contain their grief as they prepared to lay him to rest.

Salman Khan was seen arriving at Baba Siddique’s home in a black Range Rover, surrounded by tight security with police and guards present. A video shows his car entering the residence. In another clip of his departure, Salman appeared emotional and teary-eyed as he navigated through the large crowd outside, amidst chaos and pandemonium, after paying his respects to the late NCP leader.

Fans have been praising Salman Khan for his bravery in attending Baba Siddique’s residence despite the risks involved. It’s important to mention that Baba Siddique played a crucial role in reconciling the feud between Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan during one of his Iftar gatherings in 2013. Yesterday, the Bishnoi gang took responsibility for Siddique’s murder in a Facebook post, prompting heightened security outside Salman Khan's Galaxy Apartments. In light of the situation, the actor has canceled all upcoming meetings and requested privacy, asking his colleagues in the industry to avoid visiting him in the next few days. Baba Siddique was laid to rest on October 13, 2024, with state honors.
