His last musical extravaganza "Yuvvraaj" failed to click at the box office, so Subhash Ghai is leaving no stone unturned to make his next directorial venture a musical delight. He has roped in successful composers like Salim-Suleiman and Ismail Darbar, and lyricist Irshad Kamil, for it.
Yet-to-be-titled film will be launched Oct 24, which marks the 34th anniversary of his production banner, Mukta Arts.
The film is a romantic drama with a mixed cast and its first 'mahurat' song will be recorded Sep 18 in Mumbai.
Ghai is known for helming movies like "Karz", "Khalnayak", "Pardes", "Taal" and "Yaadein", popular for their chart-topping numbers. So it goes without saying that he wants to offer the best in his new film too.
The 67-year-old's last directorial was 2008 release "Yuvvraaj".
