Sahil Anand opens up on digital debut with 'Banned', says 'Web is a medium which is all over the place'

Actor Sahil Anand, who's known for his notable performance in shows like Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 will be soon venturing into the digital space. The actor who will be seen in the upcoming Voot originals show 'Banned' spoke candidly about his debut in the digital space.

Talking about the show and his character, Sahil said "The tagline of the series is 'Chaar Bekaar versus ek sarkar'. The story revolves around 4 musicians who form a band and they perform in 'Jagratas' since the character belongs to a very poor family. And from there, they start performing in small gigs and due to some unfavorable circumstances, they fall into a position where the government tries to silence their voice. And from there, the musicians turned rebels then face many trials in life, where they are also sentenced to jail imprisonment."

He further spoke about the web space and boom in general and mentioned, ''Web is a medium which is all over the place and is not limited to a specific age group. Today, people from all walks of life are accessible to web because during the lockdown, people have started exploring the content on the web to a larger extent and now it has taken over.''

On the professional front, Sahil who began his career with reality shows became a huge name in the industry with films like Student Of The Year. The actor will also be seen in a spine-chilling web film which is titled 'Paatra'.
