Rishi Kapoor disappointed after a bad birthday dinner; writes a bad review about the restaurant being overpriced and arrogant

It’s been roughly a year ever since Bollywood couple Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh have been away from the limelight, in New York. The couple had gone to the NYC when Rishi was diagnosed with cancer. Now that the actor is declared scot-free in April, he has been spending time missing home.

Yesterday the Amar Akbar Anthony celebrated his 67th birthday with his wife, by having a luxurious dinner at a fancy New York restaurant. But his celebration turned sour, as not only was the restaurant overpriced but their waiters were arrogant as well. Post the dinner Rishi, who is an avid social media user, took to his official social media handle and wrote a scathing review about Chef Daniel Boulud’s restaurant at the 65th Street. 

He wrote, "Birthday dinner with Neetu at “Daniel” Bouluds flagship restaurant at 65th between Park and Mad.. Disappointed. Highly over rated,over priced and arrogant. Not recommended at all. One kick up their ass and this is a foodie saying so."

The 102 Not Out actor, has always been a foodie. Talking about which dish he misses the most from back home, in an interview with Mid-Day, he had said, “I miss eating pomfret; it’s not available here. I also miss the soft homemade chapatis. You get all sorts of naan and rotis, but those soft chapatis made of chakki ka atta are something else!”

Yesterday his wife Neetu Kapoor had also taken to her official social media handle and thanked everyone for their best wishes on his birthday. Sharing a video she wrote, “On his birthday I thank everyone. Family Friends Well wishers for all the love and prayers can’t believe it’s almost a year and we will soon be heading HOME”
