Technical aspects and performances

ghy

As a director, Prashant Bhagia has made sure that Fisaddi is not a run-of-mill family drama. Along with Durgesh Singh, he has struck the right chord by making the show highly relatable. While most college life shows are set in the backdrop of Engineering or IIT, Durgesh chose Arts as a background. The show is also progressive in many ways, as it shows how girls have the right to raise their voices for their right to education. They do it without being preached. There is also emotional value to the show that every household will relate to. From the father's persistence to the elder son being pressurised to be an idol to Vimal as a young one getting restricted, every aspect gets us overwhelmed.

Talking about performances, Bhuvan Arora as Goldie aptly depicts the emotional distress of the elder brother. He is angry and upset but still protects his young brother. Poojan Chhabra, as Vimal, is cool as a younger brother and puts forward his best foot. Priyal Mahajan as Geetanjali wins hearts with her adorable act. The other cast lends the right amount of support and leaves an impact. However, it's Gopal Datt as PCO Dada who leaves us emotional.

The Verdict

Overall, Fisaddi has its heart in the right place, and it is a heartwarming and relatable tale with the cast putting the best act.
