Ranbir Kapoor admits Alia Bhatt 'changed more for him' than he did for her

Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are one of the most adored couples of Bollywood. The two got married in an intimate ceremony in April 2022 at their Bandra home. Their daughter Raha was born in November that year. Ranbir Kapoor in an in-depth interview with Nikhil Kamath on People By WTF has spoken about Alia Bhatt and his married life. The couple have an age difference of ten years. He said he first met her when she was just nine. Over the years, he met her and always felt that she was indeed special.

Ranbir Kapoor said that Alia Bhatt is like his BFF. He said that he adores that camaraderie between them. Ranbir Kapoor said, “Watching a movie, laughing, chatting, you know I am so lucky that I married somebody who I am extremely close to as a friend. She's my best friend and I got really lucky with that."

He described his wife as a wonderful person, and one with a colourful personality. Ranbir Kapoor has always maintained that she is an over-achiever, and very passionate about her work. He said his wife really makes him smile. Ranbir Kapoor told Kamath, “I am really happy to go home to her. I love going on a holiday with her but I love coming home to her."

Ranbir Kapoor said Alia Bhatt made more changes to her personality that he did to his. He said he should change that. Ranbir Kapoor said he acknowledges it. She made changes to whatever he complained about. He is quoted as saying, “I think she made better efforts than I have, she changed more for me than I have for her. She used to speak in a very loud tone, and I think because of my father's tone growing up always kind of rattled me. She made efforts to change it.”

The couple will be seen together in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love And War. Vicky Kaushal is also a part of the cast. It is a love story with the backdrop of a war. It is supposed to be a modern day Sangam. After Saawariya, Ranbir was not keen to work with Sanjay Leela Bhansali but she reportedly made them sort out issues and collab again.
