Rakul Preet Singh celebrates her first Karwa Chauth with her husband, Jackky Bhagnani, Amid a back injury

Rakul Preet Singh celebrated her first Karwa Chauth after marriage in a rather quiet manner. Due to an injury she sustained during her workout, she was advised to rest. The actress, known for her role in De De Pyaar De, shared a photo of herself resting in bed on her Instagram stories. Dressed in a red outfit and wearing sindoor, she captioned the image, "Bed rest wala first Karwa Chauth."  

Prior to this, Rakul posted a sneak peek of her minimal mehendi. Her husband, Jackky Bhagnani, shared this moment on his Instagram, humorously noting, "I am so hungry but I won't eat too." The couple had a destination wedding in Goa earlier this year.

After her injury, Rakul provided an update to her fans via Instagram stories. In a video message, she explained, "Well, here's a little health update. I did something very stupid. I didn't listen to my body. I had a spasm, kept pushing it, and it turned into a major injury. I have been in bed for the last six days, and I think it will take another week or so for me to fully recover." She lifted 80 kg without the belt. 

She continued, "I really hope I recover faster than that because it's not easy for me to give in and rest. But it's a lesson learned: please listen to your body when it gives you signals. Don’t try to push. I thought my mind was stronger than my body, but it doesn't always work that way." Rakul concluded with gratitude, saying, "Thank you so much for all your wishes to those who messaged me. I will bounce back stronger. Lots of love."

On October 20, Rakul celebrated her Karwa Chauth with Jackky. For this occasion, she chose a simple mandala design for her mehendi, writing her husband's initial "J" next to it, tagging him, and adding, "First" with a red heart emoji.

In a sweet gesture, Jackky also observed the fast for his wife, sharing his reaction, "My Life I am so hungry but I won't eat too." The couple tied the knot on February 21, 2024, marking a beautiful start to their journey together.
