Following the disappointing performance of "Bade Miyan Chote Miyan," Jackky Bhagnani has spoken out about the film's failure. Featuring Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff, the film, budgeted at Rs 400 crore, earned only Rs 111.49 crore globally over 56 days. This disappointing financial outcome significantly impacted producer Vashu Bhagnani's Pooja Films.

During an interview with The Indian Express, Jackky acknowledged that the film's poor performance was a crucial lesson. "We invested a lot of money, and I realised that just scale is not good enough," he said. He highlighted that despite the impressive visuals and cast, the story failed to engage audiences.

The consequences were significant, both emotionally and financially. Jackky shared that his family mortgaged their properties to cover the film's losses. "As a family, we have mortgaged our properties to make this film. We realise there is no point in saying anything or speaking anything," he stated. The film's failure had a clear personal impact.

Facing significant financial strain, Vashu Bhagnani reportedly sold Pooja Films' Mumbai office to settle debts of Rs 250 crore. Compounding the situation, the producer has reportedly accused the film's director, Ali Abbas Zafar, of financial fraud, escalating the challenges faced by the already struggling project.
