Poonam Dhillon says, times have become daunting for newcomers; Sunny Deol asks media to be easy on their kids

In the ever-evolving world of Bollywood, where new talents are constantly emerging, one film has been generating quite a buzz – 'Dono.' This upcoming romantic drama holds a special place in the hearts of movie enthusiasts, not only for its promising storyline but also for its unique cast and crew.

What sets 'Dono' apart is the fact that it marks the much-anticipated acting debut of Rajveer Deol, the son of Sunny Deol, and Paloma Dhillon, the daughter of veteran actress Poonam Dhillon. This dynamic young duo is all set to take the industry by storm, and fans can't wait to see their on-screen chemistry.

Adding to the excitement is the fact that 'Dono' is directed by Avnish Barjatya, the son of renowned filmmaker Sooraj Barjatya. Avnish's directorial debut has been long-awaited, and expectations are running high, given his family's legacy in the Indian film industry. Recently, the much-anticipated trailer of 'Dono' was unveiled by the film's makers, setting the stage for a remarkable cinematic experience.

At the trailer launch event, the young stars were joined by their proud parents, Sunny Deol and Poonam Dhillon. While adressing the media, Sunny Deol and Poonam Dhilon highligted the difference in the pre-release events of the film. She said, "times have become daunting for the new comers, esepcially when it comes to the interaction with the media."

She further said that things were different for us. later adding to this Sunny requested to the media to not be hard on the kids and don't throw questions that they cannot answer. 'Dono' promises to be a romantic rollercoaster set against the backdrop of a destination wedding. 

In addition to its fresh faces, 'Dono' boasts a melodious soundtrack composed by the talented trio of Shankar Mahadevan, Ehsaan Noorani, and Loy Mendonsa. The film's screenplay is the brainchild of Avnish S. Barjatya and Manu Sharma. The film will hit the big screens on 5th October.
