Neeharika Roy reflects on playing a married woman at the age of 19, calls it the 'job of an actor'

The 19 year old, Neeharika Roy who has been winning hearts with her stint in Zee TV's popular show Pyaar Ka Pehla Naam Radha Mohan, in an exclusive chat with us revealed how her journey in the world of television ahs been so far. The actress also commented on playing a married woman at the mere age of 19 and whether or not she has had apprehensions on the same. 

Talking about playing a married woman at the age of 19, Neeharika said, ''I always wanted to do a lead role. Now that I have become an actress, I believe, it is the job of an actor to portray things and emotions that they do not relate to or have not experienced in real life. The kind of romance you see actors do onscreen is way different from the real life romance. Itni kum age mein koi maa nahi bann jaati. So, to portray what you have not even experienced in real life is what we call acting I believe. And I think, if I am able to potray emotions or situations that I have never experienced personally, then I am doing a great job and I believe people are liking it too.''

Neeharika further revealed how she ended up being an actress post taking up science in high school. She said, ''I was never influenced to be an actress. After passing out 10th, I told my parents that now I want to take up acting and they agreed. They just asked me to take up a subject that I could handle along with my acting gig.''

Well, the young actress has been a part of popular shows like Balveer, Tera Yaar Hoon Main and Maharana Pratap too. Currently, Neeharika is paired opposite Shabbir Ahluwalia in Zee TV's show Pyaar Ka Pehla Naam Radha Mohan.
