Smriti Khanna and Gautam Gupta Reveals Her Second Baby Girl's Name

Former actor Smriti Khanna, known for her roles in Rishton Ke Bhanwar Mein Uljhi Niyati (2011), Main, Meri Patni... Aur Woh! (2005), and Manoj Bhaiya (2008), announced the arrival of her second baby girl earlier, and today, they revealed her name: Aizah Gupta. The couple's first daughter, Anayka, had wished for a little sister, and Smriti believes that Anayka's hopeful spirit played a role in bringing Aizah into their lives.

In a past interview reflecting on her journey to motherhood, Smriti shared that this experience feels different. "I felt a connection with Aizah sooner this time because I already have my motherly instincts," she explained. While Gautam Gupta, her husband took a bit longer to bond with their first child, Smriti noted that it remains a beautiful experience for them both.

Anayka's excitement about having a sister is heartwarming. Previously Smriti shared, "Anayka's wish has come true, and that's the best thing for me." However, she also mentioned that Anayka feels a little disappointed that she cannot play with Aizah just yet. To ease this transition, Smriti and Gautam are working hard to divide their attention between both girls, ensuring Anayka feels included. "I want to make sure she doesn't feel left out in any way," Smriti added.

As a second-time mom, Smriti prepared herself for sleepless nights, but she describes the experience as a “roller coaster ride.” Managing both a toddler and a newborn presents its challenges, and she finds moments to rest when Anayka is at school.

With the arrival of Aizah, their family has grown even more joyful and loving.
