In her recent post, Smriti joyfully displayed her baby bump with her husband Gautam Gupta, their sweet daughter Anayka, and their beloved dog, Lucas. Smriti and Gautam's love story began on the set of Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi, where their onscreen chemistry bloomed into a real-life romance. They tied the knot in 2017 and embraced parenthood with the arrival of their first child, Anayka, in 2020 amidst the lockdown.

Prior to Gautam, Smriti was previously married to her then-boyfriend, who, as per her, was engaged in unlawful activities. In an interview with ETimes, Smriti candidly discussed the breakdown of the relationship. She revealed, "He betrayed me. He betrayed me and my entire family." Looking back on her past, Smriti expressed remorse for not prioritizing her career or education during that phase.
