The internet is buzzing with excitement following the release of the trailer for Mirzapur Season 3. Fans have eagerly awaited the continuation of the popular crime thriller, and the trailer has certainly not disappointed. The anticipation is so high that fans have even come up with a couple name for characters Dimpy (Harshita Gaur) and Robin (Priyanshu Painyuli), dubbing them 'Rompy.'

In a recent interview, Shweta Tripathi Sharma, who portrays 'Golu' in the series, shared an inspiring story about Harshita Gaur's dedication during the filming of Mirzapur Season 2. Despite suffering an injury during an action sequence, Harshita chose not to use a body double. She prioritized the authenticity of her performance over her injuries, demonstrating remarkable commitment to her role.

The trailer for Season 3 opens with Guddu Bhaiya (Ali Fazal) making a bold statement by destroying a statue of Tripathi with a hammer in the middle of a chowk. This act signifies his intent to claim power, but he soon realizes that many others are vying for the same throne.

Adding to the drama, Rasika Dugal's Beena Tripathi is seen seducing the new self-proclaimed king, Guddu Bhaiya. Meanwhile, Guddu's right-hand woman, Golu (Shweta Tripathi), politician Madhuri Yadav (Isha Talwar), and Guddu’s estranged parents (played by Rajesh Tailang and Sheeba Chadha) are all poised to play crucial roles in the unfolding events.

Produced and created by Excel Media and Entertainment, Mirzapur has been a fan favorite since its debut. Directed by Gurmmeet Singh and Anand Iyer, the show’s third season features an ensemble cast including Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, Shweta Tripathi Sharma, Rasika Dugal, Vijay Varma, Isha Talwar, Anjumm Shharma, Priyanshu Painyuli, Harshita Shekhar Gaur, Rajesh Tailang, Sheeba Chadha, Meghna Malik, and Manu Rishi Chadha.

Mirzapur, set in the titular town, first premiered in 2018, followed by a successful second season in 2020. The much-anticipated third season is set to premiere on Prime Video India on July 5, promising more intense drama, power struggles, and gripping storylines that have made the series a standout hit.
