After doing films like Mastaani, Rahul and Dr. Mukta, Manish Wadhwa aka
Chanakya of Imagine's popular show Chandragupta Maurya, is back to
Bollywood with yet another movie and this time with none other than the
crime thriller expert Ram Gopal Verma.
Talking more about the movie and his role, Manish says, "The movie is titled Shabri wherein Eesha Kopikar is playing the title character. It says the story of a lady gangster hailing from the slum area of Mumbai. I play the character Vilas who has a grey shade in him. The movie is directed by Lalit Marathe who worked as the scriptwriter for Bhoot and Swades. It was great shooting for the film in Mumbai where we shot in places like Mahim slum area."
Manish shares an interesting fact, "The movie was shot before I started shooting Chandragupta Maurya and my hair in the movie is real. Many people asked me whether I have worn a wig or not."
"After a long time today I am in Mumbai for the promotion of the movie for which I will be going to Ghatkopar for Dahi Handi. The movie will release on 26th of August", signs off Manish.
We wish Manish all the very best for his future ventures…
