Bollywood filmmaker and Mandira Bedi’s husband Raj Kaushal's sudden demise was a shock to the entire film industry. While she continued to mourn for her husband’s death silently, the Saaho actress broke social media silence by sharing a few pictures of her and Raj. The pictures seemed to be from a dinner date. She also deleted her display picture on Instagram and replaced it with a black screen.
The filmmaker died of a cardiac arrest on June 30. Remembering Raj, Mandira shared an unseen photo of the two and tweeted it with a broken heart emoji, on Monday night. She wrote, "#rip my Raji (sic)," followed by a broken heart emoji.
Mandira Bedi was inconsolable at Raj Kaushal’s funeral. She presided over the funeral proceedings of her husband and also performed his last rites. While several online users criticised Mandira Bedi for breaking tradition, the actress was lauded by friends and industry colleagues for her bold decision and performing the rites.
