Malaika Arora slams people criticizing her sheer outfit, calls them 'hypocrites'

Bollywood actress Malaika Arora has a strong social media presence, a large fan base but has also been targeted by trolls. Malaika Arora recently received backlash from a section of people on social media for the gorgeous black sheer outfit she wore at Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar's wedding party. 

The actress has spoken in several interviews about how she has learned not to let the trolling and negativity get under her skin.

Sharing her reaction on the same, Malaika told a news portal that all she could hear was that it looked fabulous and she doesn’t know about anybody else.

The Bollywood diva also called the people criticizing her outfit ‘hypocrites’. According to her, they would have loved something like that on Rihanna, Jennifer Lopez, or Beyonce. Malaika added that they are women who inspire her every single day.

Although Malaika does not take trolls seriously, she admits that harsh comments affect her. Anyone who claims it didn't affect them is either lying or trying to hide something, according to her.

The actress also stated that there is a double standard in terms of trolling because celebs in the West are loved and applauded for wearing something unusual, whereas Indian celebs are trolled if they try or wear something experimental.

Malaika also opened up about being a single mother. The actress revealed that initially, she felt that the whole world was crashing on her head but she knew she had to be responsible for her son. While she had to steer Arhaan in the right direction, Malaika also felt ‘scared, vulnerable and frightened'.

Currently, Malaika is dating Arjun Kapoor. The couple is often seen painting the town red with their romance.
