Malaika Arora’s father Kuldip Anil Mehta’s prayer meet happened today at a Gurudwara in Bandra. Malaika Arora, Arjun Kapoor, Amrita Arora Ladak, Sussanne Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Vikram Phadnis were seen there. Joyce Polycarp the mother of Malaika Arora was seen with relatives from the family. Anil Kuldip Mehta was the second husband of Joyce, who had divorced from Anil Arora years ago. It seems they even had a slight age difference between them. Videos from the prayer meet have come on social media pages and Joyce Polycarp is being discussed by netizens. 

As we know, there is a very set standard on how a widow should dress. The lady wore a white starched saree for the prayer meet and came in her custom look. Social media has been trolling her for the bindi and red lipstick. A person commented, “Oh god she is looking happy. I mean it's good that she moves on. But looking at her relax and relief. Creates doubt whether the relationship was fake,” while spoke commented specifically on the red lipstick and bindi. One netizen wrote, “Why red bindi and red lipstick….Suhaag ka mazak and Tamasha bana rakha hai,” as other said, “Why is putting red bindi and lipstick sounds a bit orthodox but recently her husband died.”

It seems both the girls fully supported their mother when she announced that she had found someone in the twilight years of her life. The news of his suicide has come as a shock. It seems he was a bit unwell but there was no history of depression. Malaika Arora rushed from Pune after she got the news. Ex-husband Arbaaz Khan was the first to reach out to his former mother-in-law. Both the girls had immense love and regard for Anil Kuldip Mehta. They said he was a good dad, and even more loving grandmother.
