Karan Johar Recalls Horrible Comments from People When He Decided to Have Children Without a Partner

Filmmaker Karan Johar recently opened up about the negative comments he received when he chose to have children without a partner. Some people warned him that his decision could backfire on his professional life.

Johar also shared how his mother, Hiroo Johar, was a pillar of strength during that time, offering her support and helping him raise his children.

Appearing on the Jai Madaan – Lady of Fortune YouTube channel, Karan expressed that he lives his life in a way that avoids feelings like regret and guilt. "I never want to have regret. I do what I want to do. I live unapologetically. A lot of people have given me advice. When I decided to do Koffee with Karan, they told me I was making a mistake by overexposing myself. They said a director should have some mystique and stay behind the camera. I broke those myths," he said.

On the work front, Karan Johar has had a busy year. He is gearing up for the release of his upcoming action thriller Jigra, set to hit screens on 11th October 2024, starring Alia Bhatt and Vedang Raina in pivotal roles.
